Cancellation
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 gives you the right
to cancel an order within seven days of receipt. You must notify us IN WRITING
by letter, fax or email, and you must return the goods unopened and unused at
your own expense. We will then refund, within 30 days.
Postage and delivery options
We make every effort to process and despatch orders by 2pm each working day. Orders received after 2pm will be processed on our next working day. If you have particular requirements please email us.
Orders are usually despatched by Royal Mail 2nd Class post for delivery in 2-3 workings days unless a priority service is selected from the drop-down menu on the order page.
The charges for postage and packaging reflect the costs and weight bands of the postal
services available.
The postage cost for your order will be calculated and displayed by the shopping cart giving you the opportunity to accept the charge or adjust
the size of your order.
For larger parcels especially, please use the order message facility if you would like to advise us of a secure location so that the parcel(s) can be left safely if you are not in. Secure locations include for example, a neighbour, porch or a garden shed. There is always the option to select a business address.
International Orders
Postage will be calculated automatically based on the destination, service and weight. There is a weight limit of 2000g for AirMail packets and the system defaults to a £50.00 charge above this limit. If you wish to order larger quantities please contact us at sales@spml.biz for advice and a quote
Faulty Goods
If the product you purchase from SPM Ltd is faulty then you should notify us in
writing immediately to arrange a replacement or refund. SPM Ltd will apply
manufacturers' warranties where appropriate. Your legal rights are governed by
the Sale of Goods Act 1979, Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, Sale and
Supply of Goods Act 1994 and The Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers
Regulations 2002.
Privacy
Your Privacy is guaranteed. We will not pass on or sell your details to any
third party, but if you opt to join our email list we may email you from time to
time with details of special offers etc. SPM recognises the concern of our
customers regarding privacy of information. All information is stored securely,
and is not accessible to other users. We are committed to protecting your
privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in
accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you
for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you
with the best possible service. We will endeavour to email you to keep you up to
date with your orders, however, we will not send you marketing emails unless you
have given us your consent. We will also give you the opportunity to unsubscribe
on all marketing emails. The type of information we will collect about you
includes: your name address phone number email address credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit
consent. We will endeavour to keep the information we hold accurate and up to
date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If
you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal
information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal
security policy and the law.
